Integrated Electrochemical Dopamine Sensing with Finger Priming Pump on a Chip

Development in microfluidic technology has contributed to increased understanding neural tissue engineering through the vitro observation of cell-on-chip (CoC) systems. This been further helped by integration with broader MEMS (micro mechanical and electromechanical systems) that offers external devices such as detectors or biosensors show characteristics observed object. An on-chip microsystem platform for dopamine detection is presented here. The integrates electrochemical finger pumping a valve system means control fluid flow. microenvironment quicker result observing phenomena related cell activities relatively small specimen volume 50-100 µL, eases handling movement, consequently reduces cost consumable items.
